2-You are known as “Superfoot”,for me and all the guys
who have seen your fights,there is no question about
why you have this title!who has chosen this title for
you and when?
My manager at the time was at a basketball game. He saw a sign for Superfoot Long hotdogs. This was right after I knocked out Jem Echollas in the second round with a round house kick.
3-If you want to give your title to another
fighter,who will be your choice?and who do you admire
as agreat fighter?
I am sorry, I want to keep it forever :). There are many great fighters out there. They could take it.
4-Do you have innovated your own fighting method?may
we know about it?
Yes, because I have an injury I had to change my strategies and some of my techniques so they would work against other fighters.
5-I see some persons in the advertisements of
Blackbelt and when I see the words like”Grandmaster”
and “10th dan Blackbelt” I wonder if they are old
enough to have such titles!there are many persons with
big pretences in martial arts today,what is your
opinion about them?
The only person I would every call Master is my father and I didn’t call him that. The reason is, I respect him and he’s the only person I know I could not beat.
6-Is it anything you have not achieved yet,in your
career or your life?
I am very happy. I have a wonderful wife, four glorious cats and two children. What more do I need?
7-Is martial arts business profitable at all?I know
todys world is very competetive,specially in a country
like USA which is full of big names.
Yes, in America martial arts is profitable. The numerous schools provide many students the ability to learn. There are many tournaments. I travel all over the United States and the World working seminars and camps. Besides, people enjoy martial arts and will pay to learn.
8-Could you please tell us about your experiences in
movies?
I did 15 films. I enjoyed the first one with Chuck Norris, but I didn’t like doing movies. I just don’t like to be told to do something in a degrading manner.
